Due to pandemic restrictions, tax preparation will follow public health orders and will be restricted to drop-off only services this year. In-person appointments will not be available at either Dickinson or Williston locations.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a free tax preparation service for low-income individuals, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and elderly. Both Dickinson and Williston locations will begin the filing season February 15 and will continue through April 15, 2021. Returns are electronically filed. This is a basic service and we are unable to prepare complex tax returns. Click Here for more information on the tax returns that Community Action Partnership is allowed to prepare.

Eligible applicants must complete the VITA Demographic Form, the IRS Intake Form, and the Stimulus Form. For direct deposit please include name of bank, routing and account number and whether it’s a savings or checking account. Please include all required documents when dropping off at either location.

Tax document packets will also be available to pick up at each drop off location if unable to print online.

For Dickinson location – Please drop off your tax documents in the drop box located in the main entrance.

For Williston location – Please drop off your tax documents in the drop box located next to the front door.

Please include a working phone number where messages can be left should we need to contact you.
