The Victim Impact Panel (VIP) provides insights to (impaired) drunk drivers and potential (impaired) drunk drivers (DUI, MIP and MICH) about what happens to the victim of drunken driving crashes. This program offers a unique perspective to the drinking driver, presented in a very personal way, about the far-reaching effects of the choice to drink and drive.
COST FOR BOTH LOCATIONS: $60 Cash (ND Courts), $70 Cash (Out of State Courts)
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE WILLISTON OR DICKINSON LIBRARIES FOR INFORMATION –
*NOTE: The event starts at 6:30PM SHARP in Williston and 6:00 PM SHARP in Dickinson and the doors are closed (no exceptions). No one is allowed to enter after the doors are closed. We recommend you arrive by 5:30 PM MST in Dickinson and 6:15 CDT PM in Williston to allow enough time for check-in and to avoid being locked out. Expect the event to conclude between 7:30 PM and 7:45 PM.
No one who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be allowed to participate in the Victim Impact Panel. There will be security on site and breathalyzers may be administered if there is suspicion of alcohol/drug use. No one under the age of 16 is allowed to enter.

- Alcohol or drug use prior to attendance is strictly prohibited,
- No food or beverage is allowed, visors, bandanas, etc. must be removed.
- Cell phones, tablets, or other electronic equipment must be turned off.
- Texting, sleeping or any other disrespectful behavior is prohibited.
Failure to adhere to the above guidelines may result in expulsion.
Upon successful completion, the court will be notified of your attendance within 24-48 hours.
